Please carefully read and download the following article regarding camping, lorry hook ups, stabling and parking for the National Minimus Championships.

CAMPING

  • Camping and Overnight Lorries MUST BE BOOKED ONLINE IN ADVANCE.
  • Please follow instructions of car parking / camping attendants at all times.
  • Please observe the rules of this area and strictly NO PONIES IN CAMP SITE.
  • Please use rubbish bins for litter. Large items (e.g. broken chairs) must be brought home.
  • Please note that there are ladies & gent’s showers on site which will be clearly sign posted.
  • The Lorry Hook Up is located in a different site to the camping and must be booked separately online in advance.
  • There is NO HOOK UP in the camp site but lorries and camper vans who booked a space may park in the camp site.
  • NO BICYCLES will be allowed on site at any time during the Minimus Championship weekend.

LORRY HOOK UP

  • Lorry Hook Up MUST BE BOOKED ONLINE IN ADVANCE.
  • Please observe the rules of this area.
  • BICYCLES will NOT be allowed in the lorry hook up site, camp site or around Millstreet Green Glens Arena for the duration of the championships.
  • Follow the instructions of car parking / camping attendants at all times.
  • Rubbish bins for litter will be provided on site. Please use the rubbish bins and keep your lorry hook up and camping area tidy.
  • Toilets and shower facilities will be available and clearly signposted.
  • Camping in the camp site is located in a different area to the lorry hook up. Camping in the camp site must be book separately online.

STABLING

  • Arrival time on Friday 14th is between 12 noon and 9pm and Saturday 16th before 10am.
  • Before entering the stable yard your pony & its VALID PASSPORT must be seen by the vet. If you need to ask anything or are unavoidably delayed please call Nicki Harvey 086-7830158 or Máire Hourigan 086-3035133.
  • Stabling will be located in Block A and B in Millstreet. Stables have been assigned to each person who made a booking. Nicki Harvey and or Máire Hourigan will be present in the stable block to give you your assigned stable.
  • DO NOT stable your pony or horse until it has been seen by the vet and given its assigned stable. The vet will be stationed in Block B.
  • SHAVINGS will be supplied in your stable.
  • Please bring feed, hay, buckets and mucking out equipment.
  • Do not muck out into rubbish bins. There is a muck heap which will be clearly sign posted behind Stable Block C.
  • Do not leave your tack unsupervised in the stable yard, although we will have security we would advise you keep tack in your vehicle.
  • Ponies may be exercised in the Outdoor Warm Up Arenas marked on the Green Glens Arena Map. They must not be ridden in any other area.
  • NO BICYCLES will be allowed on site at any time during the Minimus Championship weekend.
  • The FARRIER will be onsite on Saturday between 8.30am and 9.30am, and will be on call at all other times. Tel (087-2743779). The farrier will be located in Block B when he is on site.
  • Please skip out and bank up the shavings before you depart on Sunday pm.
  • Parking for Branches who will be staying off site and who wish to leave, horse boxes, trailers or lorries overnight will be located in the day parking area located to the left as you enter through the main entrance of Millstreet.
