The course will be open for inspection from approximately 2.00 pm until dusk on Friday 21st September after which time the gates will be locked. Please remind members not to climb over or sit on fences and not to tamper with flags, foliage or roping. The landowners have particularly asked that no competitors walk the course before this. Please make this quite clear to all parents and competitors and respect the wishes of the landowner. The course will also be open to walk before the competition starts on Saturday morning.
While not ideal it is sometimes necessary to walk the course whilst a competition is in progress. In the interests of safety and consideration for competitors on the track, fence judges and officials, it may be necessary to restrict access to some obstacles. Obstruction has been caused by those on foot in previous years so please try to avoid this happening again.
Collection of Numbers
Please appoint someone who will be at the course early, to collect all Branch numbers.
Competition numbers and hat tagging will be available at the IPC secretary’s office from 3.30pm to 6pm on Friday 21st September and from 8.30am on the morning of the Championship. Branches are responsible for bringing their own cross-country number bibs for all their competitors. The IPC office provides the number insert cards for the Bibs.
