UK PC Home International at the Royal Windsor Horse Show

IPC Dressage Team selection for UK PC Home International at the Royal Windsor Horse Show 15th May 2026.

The Irish Pony Club has been invited to send a dressage team to compete in the UK Pony Club Home International Dressage competition at the Royal Windsor Horse Show (RWHS) on Friday 15th May 2026.

The team of five should be made up of:
1 x UK PC Novice level rider (equivalent to Dressage Ireland Preliminary)
2 x UK PC Intermediate level riders (equivalent to Dressage Ireland Novice)
2 x UK PC Open level riders (equivalent to Dressage Ireland Elementary)

Members interested in being selected for the team should record themselves and the animal they would compete on riding the relevant test (see below).  Riders are encouraged to submit videos at more than one level if they are capable of competing at more than one level.
The videos will be judged by an independent listed Dressage Ireland judge.

Entries open on Its Plain Sailing on Thursday 26th Feb at 09.00.

Closing date for submission of entries and videos 23.59 Thursday 5th March
Late entries will not be considered.
Interested combinations must be available for the competition on 15th May in Windsor.

Videos should be submitted to the IPC at the following link:

https://irishponyclub.ie/index.php/rs-virtual

Please make your entry and pay €20.00 on Its Plain Sailing before submitting your video.

The three dressage tests are available on the IPC website:

The Pony Club Novice Dressage Championship Test 2025
The Pony Club Intermediate Dressage Championship Test 2023
The Pony Club Open Dressage Championship Test 2018

NB these dressage tests on the virtual dressage submission form are located under the headings Preliminary Level, Novice Level and Elementary Level respectively.

IPC turnout and tack rules apply.

The team will be selected by the D and CT committee based on their scores for the videos submitted, as judged by the listed Dressage Ireland judge.

There will be entry fees (last year these were £30 to The Pony Club and £32 to the RWHS, which included a pass to the show and two additional people) and travel expenses to pay.  No on-site stabling will be available for this competition onsite this year, unfortunately, but last year's competitors found local stabling.
