Holmestead Saddlery Tetrathlon Championships - Change of Cross Country Venue

Due to unforeseen circumstances, the venue for the Holmestead Saddlery National Tetrathlon Championships has changed from Gurteen Agricultural College to Crecora, Co. Limerick by kind permission of the Furnell family.

The competition will now be run as a two day event rather than a three day event, on Sunday 5th and Monday 6th August.  We regret any inconvenience that this may cause but by changing to a two day event, we hope to reduce any problems.

The Shooting and Swimming phases will take place in Nenagh on Sunday 5th of August, while the cross country riding phase will take place on Monday 6th August in Crecora.  Details, times and a date for the running phase will be published as soon as the information is confirmed.  Exact start times will be posted as soon as final arrangements have been confirmed.

Stabling will now be provided by Limerick Racecourse.  Any stabling already booked for Gurteen Agricultural College will be transferred to Limerick Racecourse.

Stabling may be booked through the Irish Pony Club Its Plain Sailing page for Limerick Racecourse:  www.itsplainsailing.com/club/ipc. Stabling will cost €55 for one, two or three nights, Friday 3rd, Saturday 4th and Sunday 5th of August.  Bedding will be provided but you must bring your own hay or hard feed.

Please share this information with members of your Branch who will be competing at the Holmestead Saddlery National Tetrathlon Championships.  Stay in touch with the IPC website and Facebook, further information will be posted as soon as it becomes available.
