Curragh Autumn Festival - A Family Fun Day for All Irish Pony Club Members

The Irish Pony Club is delighted to once again partner with the Curragh Racecourse for their fantastic, action packed Autumn Festival on Saturday 28th September 2019.

Twenty eight members of the Irish Pony Club from Branches across the country will participate in the the Musical Ride Display at 3.50pm and the RACE Irish Pony Club Exhibition Ride at 5.45pm.  The members involved in the day will also receive presentations from RACE and the Curragh respectively.  The ten successful RACE Jockey Skills participants will receive their certificates at 3.20pm in the parade ring while the members of Co. Clare Branch involved in the Musical Ride display will receive a presentation from the Curragh at 4.35pm, also in the parade ring.

Our ten RACE Jockey Skills candidates have been eagerly anticipating this day and can't wait to put the skills they learned at the Jockey Skills course to the test, riding up the straight in the Curragh.  Co. Clare Branch will also perform their Musical Ride display entitled "Adaptation of the the Spanish School of Riding".  Co. Clare have performed this display at the IPC Festival Championships in Barnadown, at the Dublin Horse Show in the RDS and now they will perform it on the racetrack in the Curragh.  We would like to wish them all the very best of luck on Saturday.  Have a great day.  We hope that Irish Pony Club members will come out and support our young members as they perform.
