Fourteen Irish Pony Club Candidates Successfully Pass the 2019 H Test

Fourteen Irish Pony Club Members travelled to Mullingar Equestrian Centre on Wednesday 21st August to complete their H Test.  All fourteen candidates successfully passed the test and were presented with their H Test certificates.

Congratulations to all of these members, their Branches and their support network of family and friends.  This is a significant achievement.  Well done from everyone in the Irish Pony Club.  Thank you also to Mullingar Equestrian Centre for the use of their facilities and to all of our examiners.

The candidates skills were assessed at six different stations:

  • Lungeing and Respiratory System,
  • Feeding, Paddock Management, Exercise and Fitness,
  • Grooming, Clipping, Trimming, Travel, Loading, Rugs and Clothing,
  • Stable Yard, Tack Room Tack and Fitting,
  • Conformation, Handling, Lameness, Hoof and Shoeing,
  • Breeding Health and Condition Ailments.

The candidates passed each section, while Peter Dillon, Kildare Hunt Branch and Ailbhe McGrath, Ward Union Branch passed with honours.
