Cup/Trophies presented to Branches at the Annual Conference

Lillingston Cup (Presented by the Lillingston family) 
Presented to the branch that was awarded the most points for win and placings at Championship competitions during 2015

The Tommy Brennan Memorial Trophy
Presented to the branch with the highest average points for win and placings at Championship competition during 2015, based on the number of members registered in the branch on Oct. 1st 2015

The Carroll Trophy  (Presented to IPC by Mrs Roma Carroll)
For branches with less than 60 members and taking into account the number of members taking part in the Championships. One point is awarded for each member who took part in the Championships

We are delighted to announce that we have lined up a number of interesting and informative speakers for the Conference including:
Paul Stephenson, from the National Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Children (NSPCC) addressing Children in Sport & Social Media

Mary Tuckett, (Chairman of The Pony Club UK) who will present a talk on Centre Membership (Riding Centre Members)

Dr. Pat Wall, Chairman of Horse Sport Ireland, will speak on the contribution of Volunteers in the Irish  Pony Club

Arthur Lanigan O'Keeffe, (Ex Irish Pony Club Member and Pentathlon Irl. Olympic qualified athlete) "Pathway from Pony Club to Olympics"

Irish Pony Club Photographic Exhibition

It is intended to hold an exhibition of Pony Club photographs at the IPC Annual Conference at the Abbeyleix Manor Hotel on Saturday 10th of October.

Branches and members are invited to submit photographic prints from 6" x 4" up to 10" x 8".  Photographs should depict the objectives of the Irish Pony Club (fun, friends, sport) and must have been taken during the current year.  Photographs must have names and addresses of the owner and a title or caption on the back of each photograph.  Some or all of the photographs exhibited may be used in future Irish Pony Club publications.

The Irish Pony Club

This website contains lots of information about the Irish Pony Club.  There is useful information for members, parents, branch officers and anyone with an interest in our organisation.

The Irish Pony Club is a Voluntary Youth Organisation. It is the main equestrian organisation that provides training in all disciplines of equestrian activities in this Country for 
members up to the age of 23.

The Irish Pony Club endeavours to promote and encourage horsemanship and loyalty in a safe and fun atmosphere, for all its members and volunteers.


The annual subscription for 2015 will be €100 per member
